Le Voyage de Saturnin Muge en Provence - Paul Trabuc - Gin Candotti-Besson
(Trip to Saturnin Muge en Provence)

Pastorale remarkably interpreted, the history is riddled with typically regional expressions and intonations, which increases its charm.

Story:
November 1888, Saturnin Muge, the benet, "le ravi" of the village of Entresègues, between Aubagne and Marseille, travels the Grande Provence in search of the joy of life lost by his family.

In an essential quest, human and universal, Saturnin Muge walks. What trials must he go through?

This great journey from the Salles d'Arles to the shores of Saint-Tropez, from the plains of Cavaillon to the hills of the Mées will prove to be initiatory. Saturnin will bring back to the village a seed of love ...

The colorful characters he meets are straight from the santons of Marcel Carbonel: the fishmonger, the fisherman, the vagabond, the flower-girl, the gypsies, the brigand, the man with the lantern, the blind man and his Son ... All will offer to Saturnin a magnificent lesson of humanity.

The author:
Paul TRABUC, writer and lover of vagabond trails was born in 1967 and lives in the south.

He wrote THE TRIP OF SATURNIN MUGE for SANTON MARCEL CARBONEL. The little son of the famous santonnier, Philippe RENOUX, wanted at any cost to bequeath the part of Provencal mythology carried by the famous figurines of clay of his grandfather. He entrusted his friend Paul TRABUC with the task of making a narrative of it.

Thus in 2003, between legends and palaver, was born in Marseilles, the story of the "ravi" Saturnin Muge.
That is to say the one who raises his arms to the sky with contentment before all that lives.

If Marcel Pagnol had read it, he would have made a film!

The voice:
of Gin CANDOTTI-BESSON, deep and warm, gives life, in this narrative, to fifty characters! His voice is mixed with nature sounds.

Actress, storyteller, Gin for more than twenty years, is a voiceover for Arte, France television and numerous productions of France.
You can hear her voice in the audioguides of the Hotel de Caumont in Aix en Provence, the Rodin Museum, the Château de Versailles, Notre Dame de Paris ... She lives in Provence.

Production:
Desiring for a long time to tell a Provencal history, Gin CANDOTTI-BESSON, storyteller, was immediately seduced by this one.
Since 2013, she tells the story of her adaptation of the VOYAGE DE SATURNIN MUGE, accompanied by the Provençal musician Sébastien Prats.
(This show has already been played in Puyvert, Pertuis, Cadenet, Berre l'Etang ...)
