Pialuts - Pialuts (CD)
A pialut is bushy, shaggy, unshaven and not always convenient. Two pialuts, it is, in the mouths of some old of the corner, a band of hippies that one recognizes with their buttocks decorated with stickers "out of nuclear" and "GMO no-thank you". Three pialuts, it's music, and not just my little lady: a trad, rock, jazz, dirty, in a word "jrazzde" sound. It scrapes deep, it feels under the arms. From songs and dance tunes from Occitanie, or even from Quercy, but from a distance also, this trio glorifies and then sacks, and vice versa.
The members of the trio PIALUTS have known each other for several years, and it is with the group Kuvamazout that they made their first scales together, accompanied by a fourth musician: the pianist Jérémie Gaston.
Like love, the adventure lasts three years, and from its ashes is born the project Pialuts. This name comes from the Quercy dialect to designate different people, whether they are hippies, bitniks hairy, marginalized, outcasts, others in short.
Pialuts proclaims the evidence of difference as the essential character of our existence. Exoticism is also on the other side of the street. Our world is crazy, messy, it is crawling and agitated in all directions. Pialuts pays tribute to him.
Experiments, rock, improvisation, trad, folklore, there is a little of all that inside. Listen to it.
