Une langue qui disparaît ? Plaidoyer de Jean Eygun
Ua lenga qui s'esvaneish? Pleitei de Joan Eygun
A language that disappears? Advocacy by Jean Eygun
Today, it is really the future and survival of the Occitan language that are at stake.
This essay by Jean Eygun takes a critical look, without any taboo or a priori, on the current situation of Occitan, and is a call to think and imagine new ways.
For it is not yet time to mourn the dead language but to alert on the dangers that threaten and to advocate for the preservation of the Occitan language so that it remains alive in the future.
Bilingual text: Occitan text (Gascon) followed by French text.
Collection Camins, editions Letras d'òc.
