The Author:

Christian Laux (Cristian Laus) is a French writer and lexicographer from Occitan, born in 1934 in Cessenon (Hérault), and died in Albi in 2002.
Professor of physics in Albi, he was also president of the IEO of the Tarn. He published several stories and an autobiography, Los uèlhs de l'anhèl, as well as reference works for the study of Occitan: an anthology of the Occitan writing in Albigeois (which contains the first modern edition of the Garison de Marianna) and two Occitan-French and Occitan-French dictionaries.
