A practical guide and a lot of useful information: a little history of occitan language, reminders on how to write and pronounce it (you will be able to explain it to your relatives if they need it), the french legal texts in force concerning the civil status and possibly the change of your first name, as well as a good list of female and male occitans names.
For each first name, you will find, in a succinct form, the corresponding French first name (when it exists), the etymology and the day of the saint to be desired.
