Rondes, Dan​ç​as Redondas - La Granja (double CD)

This double album gathers twenty-five acoustic, lively and current interpretations of Quercy rounds. Nearly fifty musicians participated in these songs to dance, between Brittany, Auvergne and Occitania.

You will recognize among them musicians who are used to play together (Sourdure, Pialuts, Rivaud-Lacouchie...), others known for their very rich course within the musics of popular traditions like Xavier Vidal or Matèu and Romain Baudoin... and so many others still. According to the titles, they are about ten, in trio, duo and even solo.
In short, a double CD varied on a single topic: the dances in round.


This project was realized at the initiative of the association La Granja in Soulomès (Lot).


Two CDs, in digisleeve 3 parts, with a booklet of 56 pages carrying the words and their translations.
