Traditional music from our regions, with dancing as its primary function. Bourrées, polkas, Carnaval de Lantz, Fandango, Branles d'Alsace, Rigodons, Congo... Seventeen musical titles for traditional dances from our regions (Berry, Creuse, Lauragais, Gascogne, Dauphiné, Alsace, Pays Basque, Languedoc, Bretagne, Retz, Provence, Auvergne, Morvan).

The band:
Galouvielle: from "galoubet", a Provencal three-hole flute, and "vielle à roue".
The music and dances practiced at Galouvielle are often called folkloric, popular, peasant, folksy and so on. But they simply call them "traditional".
They dance and play polkas, mazurkas and other bourrées. Essentially collective or couple dances, these seemingly easy, but not so easy to master, remind us of our cultural heritage and of a time when people liked to get together simply for the pleasure of playing music, dancing or singing together.
