CD with polyphonic songs to dance.

After a first album released in 2015, Las filhas de Cocanha are back with a new 10 tracks CD!
They make their voices and percussions ring in the service of Occitan folk songs on the Pyrenean, Gascon and Languedoc repertoires.

You will find songs from Gascony and elsewhere in Occitania, such as As far as air, Sus la punta espada, Jamei jo non veirèi, Lo companhon Avairon ... and also creations such as Jumping Garona.

Three voices, three personalities, percussions, Occitan folk songs, and zou! With Toulouse as a meeting point and the Occitan language as a vocal playground, Cocanha makes the Pyrenean, Gascon and Languedoc repertoires ring in chorus. The sound is raw, generous, sincere. An Occitan "girls band" for a dance concert or ball that is all about elegance, humor and character.
