Aucelon dau Viatge - Marombrina (CD)
This second album is called "Aucelon dau Viatge", also the title of a song composed by Sylvie Aligro.
Marombrina concocted this CD in the church of Venanson, a small perched village in the Vésubie region.
In the pot, original arrangements of traditional songs, dance songs and new creations!
A palette of harmonies from lightness to gravity...
Self-produced CD.
The band:
Danièle Collombon, Patricia Jouve, Sylvie Aligro et Danielle Franzin.
Loves, rebellions, destinies, joys... The group sees itself as reflecting "a tradition towards an elsewhere". Marombrina is one of the Provençal names for "reflection".
While Damase Arbaud and his collections form a large part of their repertoire, both sacred and secular, they also put their polyphony at the service of more recent creations, with their own arrangements.
