More info

Le patois de Lallé en Bas-Champsaur - David Martin - David Martin

(Dictionary of the patois of Lalle in Valgaudemar)

This dictionary is a very important book for researchers and for those who love this language that has been so much ingrained in the country over the centuries. It was established at a time during which Occitan Alpine was still the vernacular language. Everyone spoke to her and the people of the city who wanted to do business in the country had to express themselves in the language of the peasants or go home empty-handed!
(André Faure).

It is a photocopied and spiral bound reproduction of the 1909 edition by Louis Jean & Peyrot (printers-publishers in Gap) which does not therefore have the quality of a re-edition.
