This book sheds light on the work of men and women from the various Allied secret services during the Second World War in the Hautes-Alpes and Alpes-de-Haute-Provence.
These agents of the British SOE, the OSS (later CIA) and General de Gaulle's BCRA were involved in preparing for the landings in Provence on August 15, 1944 and their advance inland.
