The author:
Jean-Louis Lavit (1959, Lourdes). Schoolteacher, then occitan teacher in the Hautes-Pyrénées. Retired, he has written novels, short stories, science fiction and detective novels, and is now one of the leading authors in the occitan language: Zocalfar, Hont Blanca, Lo Tin-Tin d’Ergé, Las moscas, Blind Date, Escura, la nueit, Bèth peu de sau.
