Un jorn, un « ai! Qu ? » - Georges Gros
One day, a haiku !
In 2005, Georges Gros took the challenge of carrying out two projects. One, to adapt the French adaptations of the 543 Haïku of the Anthology of a short Japanese poem by Corinne Atlan and Zéno Bianu (NRF in 2004) for personal interest. Two, to start and complete the project: "un jour, un ai! Qu! , That is to say to find a short poem (5, 7, 5 syllables) every day in Occitan (of Provence) with its translation in French. Now everything is done.
These are his 365 mini texts, reflections of the time that flows and sometimes marked with bitterness, tenderness or humor as everyday life.
With Japanese origin, the Haiku, the shortest poetic form in the world, consists of three "sentences" of 5, 7 and 5 syllables, written on a single line in Japanese.
Occitan / French bilingual book, illustrated with color photos. The poems are classified by month.
