Pierre Biron(1861-1941), ou NORIB, est un poète paysan dont la ferme se situait à La Gazelle, commune d'Anglards-de-Saint-Flour. De 1895 à 1941, ses écrits en vers ou en prose, d'abord en français puis surtout en langue occitane d'Auvergne ont été diffusés en Planèze par les principaux journaux du temps. Ce livre réunit l'ensemble des poésies connues.
