Castanha é Vinovèl - CV (1st album CD 2013)
This first CD of Castanha é Vinovèl offers 18 titles to dance (waltz, polka, rondeau ...), pieces of traditional Occitan repertoire, old folk tunes. Note that the second part of the CD has been recorded live.
A dynamic set, punctuated by the playful comments of the musicians who apply to recreate the moods of the popular balls.
18 titles for a ball book where everything follows and leaves no respite!
Vielle à roue, accordion, percussion with feet ...
One dances to thirst more in this balèti where traditions and old airs awake.
Rondeau, polka piqué, bourrée, mazurka and waltz rotate and slam on the floors.
The dancers rage, the music turns, turns and drags you ...
They are two, one would think they are ten.
Until the final tempo, Jean Brice with the hurdy-gurdy, Alain and his accordion, their two voices
Mingle to make us more intoxicated.
Castanha é Vinovèl it is Oc, it is trad, it is especially a slice of life, a cure of happiness to combine yesterday with the pleasure of today.
