The author:
Born in the New Streets in Périgueux, Joan-Pau Verdier holds the Occitan of his grandfather and chooses to express himself in the North-Languedoc dialect of Sarlat, where he settled. We of course know the artist, the singer-songwriter in Occitan and French, the stage man. He is also passionate about Léo Ferré, the performance of Lo libre dau Reirlutz by Joan Ganhaire on CD, the co-author with Jean-Marc Pernon of CD Paratge, included in the book + CD Trobadors directed with Martial Peyrouny and Luc Aussibal, texts and a voice immediately recognizable.
