Las Domaisèlas (1976) is Joan Bodon's latest novel, an unfinished novel. In the state we know him, it's a fantastic tale.
The small principality of Espinergue, located between Rouergue and Albigeois and entirely organized for the tourism, is the background that poses the author. A satirical and bitter unfinished fantasy tale: "Tourist friends, visit the Espinergue National Park!" Death killed him on a sentence started on April 30, 1975.

One Sunday, the young Clément explores the gorges of a torrent when he is dragged into the depths of the water by a girl ... the siren of legends?
In a cave under water, a world beyond appearances, far from the gadgetized surface of Espinergue, Clement undergoes an initiation that feminizes ...

Unfinished also, but for very different reasons, "L'òme que èri ieu" is a novel on the theme of feminization. Written in 1960, it was abandoned by its author, who left us an incomplete manuscript of 42 pages.

Long before debates on sex and gender, two amazing works of the great writer.

At the end of the volume: "Some elements of biography" of Jean Boudou established by Cantalausa.

New edition in 2015.
Collection A tots, IEO editions.

The author:

Jean BOUDOU (Joan BODON in Occitan) (Crespin, 11/12/1920 - Algeria, 24/02/1975), is one of the great writers of the modern world. Marked by the imagination of the tale, he addresses in his work universal or biblical themes to talk about his intimacy with the Occitan language he sees decline.

Extract:
