After "Sorne Trasluç", "Las Tòrnas de Giraudon", "Others besides me tuada" and "Chamin de Copagòrja", here is now "Sevdije", the fifth inquiry of the famous commissioner Alessandre Darnaudguilhem and his team, in Occitan "of Segur". As usual, the inquiry takes place in Maraval (which looks like the Perigueux), capital of Nauta-Dordonha, where Occitan is an official language. The author:

Joan Ganhaire (in French Jean-Leopold Ganiayre), is a Perigord writer who writes his works in Occitan Limousin. He was born in Agen in Lot et Garonne on May 21, 1941. After studying high school in Périgueux, he studied medicine in Bordeaux to settle in Perigord where his vocation as an Occitan writer was born. He obtained the Jaufre Rudèl Prize in 2001 with his work Lo viatge aquitan.
