2800 signes - Alan Roch
Collection of weekly columns "Lo papieròt plombbés" published in "La semaine du Minervois" between 2012 and 2014.
Edicions IEO-Lengadòc (Institut d'Estudis occitans).
The author:
Alan Roch (Carcassonne, 1952) is an Occitan activist. This storyteller from Carcassonne draws from the traditional repertoire of tales of the country, to say in good oc language, with a few pinches of French and the force of the gesture, stories that show real imaginary characters who know how to thwart all the traps who dot their course with a sharp edge of humor and irony. You will follow from his native cave of the Pyrenees to the end of the world Joan of the Ors / Jean of the Bear, you will accompany the Boçut in his Tour de France as well as other endearing characters.
Between the initial "còp èra" and the final "E cric e crac", you will be caught in a whirlwind of words and adventures truculent and moving stories for all, from 3 months to 333 years! Enough to quench your thirst for imagination and easy-drinking words like new wine.
He writes for the children (Las pendulas sens agulhas, Mai o mens, Lenga de gat, Al solelh de las lunes, Pataflòsc, Lo free of Piconèl, Breissalina, The escaumièr of serena, Lo rossinhòl arganhòl) and for adults ( The Vermain of the frucha, E las galinas auràn of teeth?, The peel of the golds, Lo galapachamau alfà-zedic, 13 coma rugbí, Papieròts romegaires, Una granda lampada of wine, Meditacion & Vinificacion, Just per Dire, L ' ipopotam mesopotamian, 2800 signs ...). Translated in Occitan Robert Desnos (Sus las ribas of Mississippi) and Daniel Pennac (L'uèlh del lop). Contributed to the realization of the dictionary Tot in Òc. In 2006, participated in the edition in oc of the album Julon sul Canal de Riquet.
