English translation:
“For therapy, he asked me to make an effort and adopt, for a time, Thoreau's manifesto in Walden [...]
“He told me that this book had been a revelation for many women and men of the 20th century, the awakening to a different relationship with the World, Bob Dylan for example, Rachel Carson, and closer to us geographically even José Bové. Why not go and live in the woods, relegate life to the background, cut it up gently into small pieces and savour all its substance until you reach the sublime? But where to go? What to do? I've signed.” (p. 10)
